Computerized Accounting Acceptance (CAA) is to replace manual accounting with computerized accounting, to achieve a work as per requirement of governmental departments for accounting computerization. It has been originated from comparatively standardized cities of the entire country, of which since implementation of “Method for Implementation of Accounting Computerization for Shanghai Municipality” in 1992, Shanghai's financial departments and different superintendent bureaus, and stock holding (group) companies have taken an serious attitude to organizing and directing the acceptance work for application of accounting computerization, which has vigorously boosted the work on accounting computerization for Shanghai and has increase the level of accounting computerization of Shanghai Municipality. 　　 All work institutions can replace manual accounting with computerized accounting on themselves so long as condition permits. After manual accounting replaced by computerized accounting, all work units shall fill up the “Form for Acceptance of Computerized Accounting Replacement of Manual Accounting by Work Units of Shanghai”, to be submitted together with table of codes for accounting subjects, relevant management systems for accounting computerization, visible accounting sample documents interprinted during the human machine parallel period (including vouchers of accounting regimes, cash and bank journals, detail accounts of certain subject, and general ledger of all kinds) as well as major e-reports to the same-level financial departments for acceptance, of which the “Form for Acceptance of Computerized Accounting Replacement of Manual Accounting by Work Units of Shanghai” shall be copied to the same-level tax departments at the same time.

　　The work institutions shall report their same-level financial departments for acceptance and make copies to the same-level tax departments if they make significant modifications or upgrade to update versions, or make significant adjustments on the work of accounting computerization.
